In this journal I noted down all the steps I took mentally which made my success seem effortless, seem like everything I did brought me what I wanted, seem like the most pleasurable experience in my life, seem like I was floating towards my goals. You can copy these steps. Here they are... 1. Allow negative thoughts and feelings When you’re down, it’s hard to stop thinking negatively and if you try to resist these thoughts, they will persist. You will merely be suppressing them only to have them come up over and over again which is what you definitely do not want. Instead of fighting them, allow them. This means experiencing them. If you feel depressed, be depressed. If you feel fearful, BE fearful. If you feel, anger, BE angry. Not too long after you have allowed these thoughts, they will be released and you will not feel the same thoughts again. Depending on who you are, you may have to go through this process some more to release all your negative thoughts. This is the beginning. Preparing your mind to be able to think positively. 2. Always focus on and be thankful for every single penny that comes into your life If you find a penny, pick it up, all day long you’ll have good luck. You've heard this before. The reality is, if you find a penny, pick it up, appreciate it and all your life you'll have good luck. Usually, when we’re experiencing tough times, we focus on what’s going out and attach emotion to those thoughts. As soon as you notice you are doing this, change focus to every penny that you have, has come into your life in the past, is coming into your life soon and will come into your life in the future and as you’re thinking about this money, say “Thank you”. You will then find that you automatically make more and more come into your life. 3. Build a vivid picture and a strong positive feeling in your mind of what you want to come into your life The first time you try this it won’t be much of an impressive picture. The second time you try this it will become bigger and brighter. The more you try this, the more it will seem real and vivid and the more it seems real and vivid, the more you will believe it has already happened. The more you believe that is has already happened, the bigger the percentage chance that it will come into your life very quickly. Practice building this picture by first deciding all the results you want in your life and finding or creating pictures that symbolise these results. If you want to make a million pounds, what will you see that will tell you that you have it? Create that picture somehow. Look at these pictures regularly so you remember them clearly. Then first thing in a morning and last thing on a night ask yourself these three questions in the privacy of your mind... “What would it be like to have [the result you want]?” and then recall the picture which symbolises that result in your mind and explore it for a few moments. “What would it feel like to have [the result you want]?” and try to feel how it would feel to have this result. “How do I get [the result you want]?” over and over. During the day, because you have asked yourself those questions, you will automatically hold this picture in your mind, feel as though you already have it and come up with ways to get it. This is the main secret of success. By the way, after you have built up this picture in your mind, give immense power to the effect of this visualisation buy listening to Paul McKenna's 'I can make you rich' CD which you can buy with his book from Amazon.co.uk. This one tip alone will make whatever you want come into your life at lightning speed! 4. Each time you visualise what you want to come into your life, think “what do I have to do just before that?” and keep coming back until you get to a point that you do not yet know what to do. Then spend a little time thinking about that step Each time you do this, the subconscious will work on that step for you while you go about your daily life. So each time you do this you will come further and further back until eventually you will have a step by step plan of action that will lead to certain success. At this point, faith will turn into certainty and your success is assured. You start with faith and when the steps are revealed, you end up with certainty. All you then need to do is, each morning, go into your mind and select the next step from where you are now and the subconscious will show you exactly what you need to do that day. Each day you will take all the exact steps in the correct way to bring what you want into your life. Your job is to take the inner and bring it into the outer. 5. When working towards a specific goal, bring up the picture of having it and feel as though you already have it All the right things you need to do or say to get this goal will now come to you as you effortlessly work. 6. Give thanks to every single idea you have that gets you closer to your goal When you give thanks for an idea, you invite more and more ideas making your goal come to you faster. 7. If you feel angry at someone in your past or present, forgive them AND yourself for the same behaviour This may not sit well with you but it is essential... When we are angry at someone, it is because we have noticed something we didn’t like about them. We only notice the traits in others that we ourselves have. This will be hard for you to accept. But if you are angry with someone, you are in effect being angry with yourself for being like that or doing that thing. This lowers your self esteem and makes life difficult. Have the courage to accept that you do all the same things as all the people you are angry with, forgive them for it and forgive yourself for doing it. You will then feel amazing and never be angry with them again. This is something you will likely reject and if you do then success will be difficult for you. If you are angry that someone hurt you, somewhere in your past, you did the same or thought about doing the same to someone else. You must be honest with yourself here. Obviously, in extreme cases there will be exceptions. But always forgive yourself after forgiving the other person whatever. You will feel great. 8. Do something every day that takes you closer to having what you want When we procrastinate, we lose faith in our ability to get our goal. As soon as we do something no matter how small, we start to increase our faith. This has a snowball effect because the more faith you have the more you want to do to get what you want. The more you do, the more faith you have and so on. THIS is what makes achieving goals seem effortless. As soon as we sit back, we begin to lose faith, we want to do less, we lose more faith and so on until we give up. Take one simple action today that will take you closer to what you want and you will see what I mean. 9. Release all wantings The more we want something, the more we feel as though we do not have it. The feeling of wanting is linked to anger and frustration. These feelings paralyse you. You need to release these feelings. There are 5 types of wanting. Wanting control, wanting approval, wanting to change things, wanting to resist unfavourable outcomes and wanting security. When we go for what we want, we get all five wantings because we want to control the outcome, we want approval from people to help us get it, we want to change things, we want to resist failing to get it and we want security because we will have to take a risk in order to get it. Once you release these wantings, you release your 'brakes' and you float to your goal with ease. Follow the same instructions as in step one for allowing negative feelings to release these wantings. I use The Sedona Method to release these wantings. Do a search on Google for this method to find out more. 10.
